You may be asking yourself, “how do they take a photograph with a plain background, expertly cut out the subject, and place it on a very different background so seamlessly?”. Well, we’re so glad you asked! At G&B we use a special process that we call a “knockout”. First, we photograph the subject on a blank background, the images are then sent through the super-secret Knockout process to separate the subject, and finally, we place them on the background of their choosing. The process is simple and effective, and the results are stunningly natural. Parents have over 150 backgrounds to choose from in our online gallery, so there’s truly always something for everyone.
